Hoihow

Hoihow, now known as Haikou, is the capital of the Chinese province of Hainan. It is on the northern coast of Hainan, near the Nandu River. The Treaty Port in Hoihow was opened by the Treaty of Tianjin, which was ratified at the Convention of Peking in 1860.

The Hoihow Treaty Port closed on 30 November, 1922.
