The postal history of Hong Kong and the Treaty Ports has been extensively studied and researched over the years but the period of 1917 -1930 during which the Hong Kong issues were overprinted 'China' has been largely overlooked

Purpose

The aim of this site is to:

• Consolidate the research done on this area of philately
• Generate interest
• Encourage other collectors to send in scans and information to increase the census and share their knowledge
• Allow others to share their research in this area
• Encourage people to examine the incredible, rewarding and joyful hobby that is philately!

Contribute

If you want to help this site grow, I am always looking for updated images, new research, any postal history (covers, envelopes, postcards, anything with the 'China'; overprinted stamps on it!) stamp registration letter singles or blocks, images of missing or new varieties, earliest and latest recorded dates (ERDs and LRDs), or anything you think would be of interest.
